I often have a need for pet “talent” to be used for Commercial clients, Editorial work, and my own Personal Projects. Every project is different, depending on what the commercial client's needs are related to breed, sizes, and sometimes specific skills required. The same holds true for my personal projects.
If your pet isn't chosen, it doesn't mean they aren't fabulous in every way. It's just that specific models are needed depending on the type of project.
Yes, it varies on the Commercial Client's budget. There will be some form of compensation either by payment or trade for free products. Please note, that digital files and art products are not an option for Commercial shoot compensation. The images produced have exclusive rights granted to commercial client prohibiting the usage of said images.
For my own Personal Projects I will compensate you with prints, or credit towards artwork or digital files. Additional prints, art products and/or digitals will be available for purchase.
I will notify you of the terms for compensation before any shoot.
Yes, It does help to have some sort of training and obedience to be considered for Commercial Shoots. The level of training depends on the project and client's needs.
For my own personal projects, it does also help, but isn't required. I've worked with dogs with varying personalities and training levels through the years.
Projects will be held at anytime throughout the year depending on the client's needs. It could be next week or a year from now. If your pet is considered for a project, I will contact you in advance to determine your availability.
Include as much detail regarding your dog's appearance, obedience level, and talents. These will all factor into being selected. Also, make sure to submit pictures of your pet with good lighting that clearly show their faces, full body, and any special markings when submitting the form.
