It seems like I had been waiting forever for a client who wanted to hire me for a dog shoot out at Oregon coast, especially Cannon Beach. Finally it happened. I had done some work previously in the year for a wonderful rescue organization, the Great Pyrenees Rescue Society, and was contacted by the lady who runs it in the Pacific Northwest. She wanted a fun family shoot with her two incredible pups Maeybe (the Great Pyrenees) and Riggins (the Basset Hound). It was such an ideal location for the dogs to go crazy running and playing on the vast open beach. They clearly had way too much fun. For me, I was ecstatic that there were so many incredible options for scenic views with mountainous landscapes and jagged rocks jutting out of the coast. I love Portland and all that it’s surrounding area has to offer, but I honestly wish I could have all my shoots out on the beach. This shoot might have spoiled me.
